Goniometer is an accurate measuring instrument that is used to measure the angles between the two surfaces.How the digital goniometer works: scale devices with an angular profile are widely used for many years, but until recently they were very expensive. The instrument presented here takes this principle (for little money) to a common measuring device for woodworking: a measuring instrument with a cut at an angle of 45 ° moves to groove on the surface of a cutting machine with table and securely holds the workpiece at an angle, while it easily slips past the cutting blade.
Why use: the measuring device provides a continuous readout of the required angle, and because it also counts the decimal division of the scale (45,5 °), it eliminates the guesswork when you need an angle, which is not an integer. Plus, the magnetic adapter allows you to attach a measuring device to the cutting cloth. When you rotate the cutting blade at an angle, the measuring device indicates the angle of rotation.
Plain digital goniometer, which counts relative angles to +/-0.1 degrees, works the following way. Put it on your desktop and press "Zero" button to establish relative zero.
Then apply it to the saw blade (it is attached by magnets located on its sides) - it will register the relative angle between the disk and desktop. The data is displayed on a digital display.
If you press "Zero" button again, then the geometer will again measure the absolute zero, relative to its position. This means that you can measure the angle between the different positions of inclination. The device runs on a 9-volt battery.
Measurements are continuously updated on the display; you can use it as a portable pocket level.
This device is also suitable for measuring angles on circular saws, blades jointer, drill presses, band saws and other similar instruments. Goniometer is electronic without moving parts. It`s metal-enclosed.

Laser digital goniometer - also has a laser emitter, which allows to have more accurate measurements, and it also has a built-in display, which shows the deviation in the horizontal and the magnitude of the turn of goniometer.
Universal optical goniometer is a convenient portable device for measuring angles. Goniometer contains a reading device and a magnifying glass.
Pendulum goniometer is used for measuring angles of cutting tools. The goniometer is based on a pendulum mechanism which is joined to the showing arrow.
